01 Nanta Show
A show blending acrobatics, martial arts, music and culinary skills – that's got to be a unique combination! The talented troupe of Korean performers cook up a storm in the on-stage kitchen giving the audience a taste of Korean culinary lunacy, sliced and diced to percussive perfection. This captivating 90 minute performance is the longest running show in Korean history, displaying the comedic culinary attempts of four cooks under pressure. NANTA combines the rhythms from Korean folk songs with modern music, creating a non-verbal performance that's accessible to an international audience. Spectators are even encouraged on stage – you could be the bride or groom at a traditional wedding ceremony, or compete in a dumpling-piling competition.
02 Lotte World
Lotte World is popular due to its convenient location at the heart of Seoul, while the proximity of numerous hotels, sports facilities, and department stores make it the ideal destination for a great shopping experience, too.Lotte World consists of two theme parks – Indoor Adventure, which is focused on exploration and mystery, and Magic Island, an outdoor lake-based theme park. There are 39 rides in total, including 22 rides at Indoor Adventure and 17 at Magic Island. Seasonal festivals, two daily parades, and other exciting stage performances are also held there.
03 Theme Parks Near Seoul
Korea Folk Village faithfully recreates Korea’s traditional way of life according to historic documents and relics. This popular outdoor museum is visited by tourists from all over the world.
If you're interested in martial arts, you should learn Taekwondo. Taekwondo is originally from Korea, and you can study at any of the numerous schools all over the country. Taekwondo is a very courteous sport, and also a very effective form of self-defense.
05 Chang or Pansori
If you like music, this will be good for you. It's a unique traditional Korean form of singing. If you want to learn about Pansori through film, "Seo Pyen Je" would be an excellent choice.
Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University(in Seoul) provide Korean language programs. You can meet people from all over the world while studying Korean.
07 Korean Traditional Dance
You can go to a dance studio and learn Korean traditional dance. You will wear "Han Bok" - Korean traditional cloths.
Korean name for the ancient board game called Go in English. Many Koreans play the game, and among them are some of the world's finest players. There are even schools that specialize in Baduk.
